Zino Davidoff was famous for being the world’s greatest tobacco retailer. Mr. Davidoff always made sure he had something for everyone in his shop. As the company has grown, we’ve not only opened Davidoff stores around the world, but have also partnered with independent retailers who have committed themselves to embracing the Davidoff philosophy of first class service and products. In our New York stores, often times people assume that we only carry expensive cigars. This is not the case. Keep in mind, when you walk into a Davidoff shop in New York, our prices include the OTP (Other Tobacco Products) tax in the sticker price (on our website, taxes are added at checkout if being shipped within NY). Our product range is tremendous with cigars ranging from $4.00 to over $60.00 per piece.
In these newsletters, I often focus on many of the limited cigars available in our stores, or some of the newest releases available. However in this email I want to highlight some of our top selling cigars for under $10.00 per cigar (prices do not include taxes).

This is a full-bodied Honduran Puro. Using only the most select Corojo tobaccos from the Jamastran Valley of Honduras, this Robusto is loaded with a solid core of tobacco flavors, as well as earth, leather, burnt toast, cured meats and black coffee.

Once made for the patriarch of the Leon Family, the late Don Fernando Leon, these cigars have never been commercially available except at Davidoff New York Stores. Only available in one size and one blend, this Cameroon wrapped Corona is incredibly complex beginning quite medium bodied with a light spiciness and turning full-bodied with a solid earthy rich flavor to the end.

The Padron family has been creating first class award winning cigars for as long as cigars have been rated and reviewed. The 1964 Anniversary was the first of their Nicaraguan Limited Editions, and while many are now fetching as much as $40 per cigar, this little treasure is a steal and a real treat with a creamy coffee note and light spiciness.

G-Fest 2010
Our annual Italian Night will be Monday January 25, at 7:15pm at the Davidoff store on Madison Avenue. Alec Bradley will be the featured cigar of the evening including the incredible Tempus and Prensado brands. Lamborghini will be on hand with some great cutters and lighters for raffles. Rothmann’s steakhouse will once again create an incredible meal featuring all sorts of Game. Prior year specialties have included Venison Ossobucco, Rigatoni with “Wild Boar Sunday Gravy”, and Rabbit Fricassee. Italian wines will be served as well.
