HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's official – 2009 is one for the history books, and 2010 is here. And I think most of us are filled with optimism and positivity for what this year holds in store. But despite some of the challenges 2009 presented us, there were a lot of great things that happened in 2009. And many of our annual events are on track for 2010 as well. In addition to great events and functions, 2009 also saw the release of several new cigars – many that were spectacular. 2010 will no doubt be just as exciting if not more so as many manufacturers are already working on new releases to debut this year. Be sure to check back often on our website and my blog to stay up to date with new releases and events.

It has been incredibly cold in the northeast, the past couple weeks. And that has meant fewer cigars being smoked… at least in comfort. Although there are still wonderful cigar bars in New York City like The Carnegie Club, Club Macanudo and a few others, even getting there is uncomfortable in these cold conditions. So, many folks favor smaller quicker smokes that can be enjoyed without freezing to one’s core.
