Doesn't it just figure, one of the coldest, wettest summers on record is officially over, and NOW, New Yorkers are enjoying some of the greatest weather of the year! Normally this is the time of year, when I start pulling out the dark spirits and putting away the clear ones; and the small format cigars start moving their way to the top of the humidor. But… if the current weather patterns hold true for a few more weeks, we've got some great cigar smoking days ahead of us. Now, I do enjoy cigars indoors. It provides much more opportunity to notice the nuances of a cigar's flavors and aroma, but a great cigar outside on a beautiful day is really hard to beat!

This is also the time of year when our humidors become filled with new products from manufacturers worldwide as all the launches from this year's IPCPR trade show arrive. So far we've already received the Cain by Oliva, Double Press by La Flor Dominicana, Family Reserve by Padron and several others. For a rundown on most of the new product headed our way, please click here. Also, the Quesada 35th Anniversary, one of the hottest cigars of this year's show (which we premiered at the Madison Avenue store over the summer) sold out during the second day of the trade show. Please call one of the stores to pre-order your box, as they are sure to go quickly!!!

At the same time, we're also running very low on our Limited Edition cigars. If you have not purchased these incredible smokes, your window of opportunity is closing rapidly.

Best regards,

Michael Herklots
