This Double Corona is impressive to say the least. Wonderfully creamy from the first puff, it builds in strength, flavor and aroma gradually until it becomes incredibly full bodied developing flavors of rich earth and meat. Don’t leave these out for everyone to enjoy – trust me – they will. EVERY ONE OF THEM!

A blend of mostly Honduran tobaccos with a touch of Dominican, it’s medium to full in body but medium in strength and great flavors of light spice, roasted nuts, and a touch of earth.

We had the pleasure of having La Flor Dominicana’s Lito Gomez in the Madison Avenue store last Thursday. He was in town for the launch of his “El Museo” limited cigar featuring artwork from the great Ruben Toledo. It’s always great to talk with Litto and hear about the new things coming out. On his way out, he stuffed one of these Churchills in my pocket and said, “Here, smoke it this weekend”. And I did. And it was awesome!

This cigar is massive, but it’s fabulous. It is so classic Padron – rich, balanced, creamy, with that unmistakable “Cocoa-Chocolatey-little-spicy” flavor. The Maduro wrapped version adds a hint of sweetness and is also great, but for me – at least this weekend, the Natural was it!
