Fall is officially here. It’s time to pack away the air
conditioners, pull out the sweaters, and break into that bottle of
Glenmorangie you’ve been waiting on. It seems like every fall, the
same thoughts come into my head, as I think about the colder
temperatures around the corner and have to come to grips with the
fact that unless I’m visiting one of the few cigar-friendly
establishments around today, or I’m sprawled out on a beach
somewhere in the Caribbean, smaller cigars will begin to dominate my
smoking selections, until the buds begin to grow back on the trees.
I personally tend to smoke thinner cigars over thicker ones, so for
me I enjoy Lanceros, Coronas, and Petit Coronas in the colder
weather, but the popularity of Robustos and now Short Robustos is
remaining strong and growing. The thicker format of the Robusto
allows the manufacturer to use more filler tobaccos and will
typically make for a cooler, richer smoke. The Short Robustos
embrace this same philosophy however they don’t require as much time
to enjoy.
Here are some of our most popular options.

The Millennium Blend is a rich blend of Dominican
tobaccos finished with a gorgeous hybrid wrapper from Ecuador. The
Short Robusto is in fact thicker than the Millennium Blend Robusto,
incorporating a little more filler tobacco resulting in a
wonderfully smooth character with notes of leather and earth.

The newest member of the Davidoff “Mille” Series, the
6000 is a classic Robusto. It’s slightly mellower than our famous
Davidoff Special <<R>>, but still maintains a nice
balance of creaminess, a touch of sweetness, and a woody note.

The Griffin’s is classically a medium bodied smoke with a touch of pepper and a smooth finish. This Short Robusto is no exception. It’s a fine smoke with a complex range of flavors that don’t overwhelm the palate but rather engage the palate.

The Zino Platinum Scepter Series is a great cigar for anytime of day. It’s a unique blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Connecticut and Peru creating a mouthful of flavors that can’t be found in any other cigar. The Pudge is a quick satisfying cigar that should be enjoyed slowly but often.
