I really can’t think of a more appropriate time to enjoy cigars than a Fourth of July Barbeque.

The Fourth of July is the quintessential American holiday. It’s a celebration of our independence as a country and the freedoms afforded to us as Americans. And there’s no better example of this than the Fourth of July Barbeques we all attended this weekend. Ironically, our nation’s fundamentals are being challenged every day as business owners are being told that they cannot permit smoking in their own establishment (in some cases even tobacco stores!), and homeowners are being told they can no longer enjoy a cigar in their own apartment. Even ocean fans have gone from sunbather to common criminal as smoking has been made illegal at some of our country’s beaches. So much for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness! But, at least for now - we are still safe in the comfort of our own back yards! I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Fourth of July weekend.
